Hi, I’m Erinn Coventry.

When I was growing up in Northern California I spent most of my time outside, whether it was playing with the neighborhood kids building forts in the backyard or catching grasshoppers with my brother to fish in the creek. I’ve always felt most myself in nature… but have also grown into a social city person, that is why Denver is a perfect fit for me. Like most transplants, I was drawn to the city due to its closeness to the mountains and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Everyday I feel spoiled to live here and it is hard to believe it’s been 4 years now!

Personally, I love exploring, camping, snowboarding, hiking, dancing and eating. I am energized by doing things I have never done before, getting crafty and using my creativity and traveling to new places…even if it’s just a new restaurant or hot neighborhood hangout. I’m a ‘people person’ and have a self diagnosed genetic disorder of talking to strangers (my grandma and mom have it too). My friends would say I’m a great tour guide, pointing out the details that nobody notices, knower of random facts and a social gravitational force. They may also mention that I always have killer Halloween costumes.

Professionally, I am a hybrid and don’t really fit into one specific box. I am agile; a Swiss Army knife of sorts. People I’ve worked with commend me on my positive attitude, infectious energy and creativity. I thrive in heat of the moment, boots on the ground, head on a swivel project/chaos management and naturally tend to step into a leadership role, even without the title. I enjoy uncovering potential and developing people. I am a big picture thinker with an eye for detail and typically play devil’s advocate to ensure that we are looking at problems from all angles. Most of my roles have had a heavy focus on building relationships and solving for things that haven’t been tackled yet.

Why did I build this Website?

With my recently acquired time post layoff, I decided I needed something to keep me productive so I put together this website. I also consider myself a lifelong learner and like to challenge myself to try new things.

So why did I do it?:

  • Learn to build a website

  • Create a landing page for networking & digital resume

  • Potentially make money from sponsorships/ influencer credits

  • Better understand digital marketing - build following, track data, etc.

  • Ignite creative writing embers/ have examples of content creation

  • Become better at editing photos and using Adobe tools

  • Build confidence in my existing skill-set

… and it has all been pretty fun!

My Professional Interests

During my recent soul searching I uncovered that these are things that interest me, not that I am necessarily an expert at. Ideally, I would like my next career move to be in one of these areas or working towards expertise in one of these categories.

Learning & Development

Sustainable Design & User Centered Design

Organizational Communication

Experiential Marketing & Events

Project Management - Sales Operations

Innovation Consulting

AdTech & MarTech

Outdoor Industry

EdTech

Travel/Adventure Tourism

If you can’t tell already, I am looking to start a new chapter in my career. I’m not just looking for something that pays the bills, but a next step that tickles some of my interests. Ideally the next part of my story will begin at a place where I can learn, grow and thrive and really put my various strengths to use.
